A real estate video for every listing
A Roomotion real estate video is made from your listing photos, with no shoot. Each photo becomes a shot with a camera move, between an intro (title, location, price) and an end screen with your name. It runs 20 to 65 seconds, comes in 16:9 and 9:16 in about ten minutes, and costs from €30 excl. VAT, with no subscription.
What is a real estate video?
A real estate video shows a property in motion, to give a sense of the space, the light and the flow between rooms that photos alone can’t convey. It goes with the listing on portals, on your website and on social media. There are three ways to make one.
- The filmed tour. A videographer shoots on site, often with a drone, then edits the video. It’s the richest result, and the most expensive: a few hundred dollars and several days per property.
- The slideshow. Photos follow one another with transitions, in an editing tool. It’s fast and cheap, but the image stays still.
- The AI video made from photos. AI animates each photo with a camera move. No shoot, a result close to a filmed tour, in minutes.
Roomotion belongs to the third family. To compare the tools out there, read our guide The best real estate video software.
Why add a video to your listing?
Performance: a listing that ranks better
Listing portals reward complete listings, and video is part of a complete listing.
- SeLoger, France’s leading portal, scores every listing out of 100. Video or a virtual tour is worth 10 points, and a listing at 80 points or more gets up to 16 times more first-page visibility than one under 50 points. Details in the guide How to optimize a SeLoger listing.
- leboncoin lists video among the things that improve a listing, and says videos bring 12% more views. See the guide How to optimize a leboncoin listing.
- On social media, vertical video is the format of Reels and Stories: it’s what gets shared, far more than a set of photos.
Appeal: a home buyers understand before they visit
- Space and light. Motion conveys the depth of a room and how light comes in, which a still photo shows poorly.
- The flow between rooms. In tour order, buyers get a sense of the layout before they come, so showings are better targeted.
- A listing that stands out. Among dozens of photo listings, the one that moves catches the eye.
- A selling point with sellers. Showing that every home gets its own video, under your name, helps win listings.
What your video includes, shot by shot
Every video follows the same structure, so all your listings share the same look.
- The intro. The property’s title, location and price, on the first frame.
- One shot per photo. From 5 to 15 photos, in the tour order you choose. Each one becomes a shot with its own camera move.
- The end screen. Your name, phone number and agency, so the video keeps your contact info wherever it travels.
- Music. A subtle background track, which you pick when you create the video.
- Your brand kit. Logo, color and fonts, saved once and applied to the intro and end screen. Details in the guide How to add your logo to a real estate video.
Everything is included in the price of the video, with no paid add-ons.
Camera moves
This is what sets a video apart from a slideshow. On each photo, AI recreates a camera move: the foreground passes in front of the background and the perspective shifts, so it feels like touring the home. For each photo, you pick the move from the list, or keep the default one.
Crane up
Rises above the scene.
Push in
Moves gently into the scene.
Arc left
Curves around to the left.
Arc right
Curves around to the right.
No prompts to write: you pick a move, not a description. The list grows with the product.
Formats and length
Every video comes in two formats, built from the same shots:
- 16:9 (landscape) for listing portals, your website and YouTube.
- 9:16 (portrait) for Instagram, TikTok and Stories. See the guide How to make a real estate Instagram Reel.
You crop each photo for both formats before generating, to keep what matters in the frame. The video runs 20 to 65 seconds depending on the number of photos, in high definition. That’s the right length for a listing: long enough to show the home, short enough to be watched to the end.
A video true to the property
The video shows your property as it appears in your photos. The camera moves are restrained and nothing is added: no furniture, no invented rooms, no retouched views. That’s what you expect from a video that goes with a listing.
For the same reason, some things aren’t part of the product: no virtual staging, no voiceover, no AI avatar, and no automatic import from a listing URL. You upload the photos yourself.
