Real estate video for independent agents
You are on your own, up against agencies with a marketing department. Roomotion turns your listing photos into an immersive video with real camera moves, under your name, in 16:9 and 9:16, in a few minutes. No equipment, no editing, for the price of a lunch per property.
Where you stand today
You sell the same thing an agency does: your time, your network, your knowledge of the area. But when a seller compares, they look at what they can see: the storefront, the website, the listings. And the agency often has a videographer, a social media manager, or at least an intern to edit Reels.
You have a smartphone, an account on your network’s portal, and your evenings. Making a video per property on CapCut is possible; you may have done it once. Then the second property came in, and the third, and the video slipped behind showings, valuations and follow-ups.
The outcome: your listings have good photos, sometimes excellent ones, and that is it. Same as the independent agent next door.
What video changes for an independent agent
The listing is won in the seller’s living room. When you show, on your phone, the video of a property you sold last month, you are no longer explaining what you do differently, you are showing it. And you can promise the same for their property, the day it goes live. Few agencies keep that promise on every listing.
Visibility you do not have to fund. A €400 videographer on a €180,000 apartment does not add up. A few tens of euros does. You can put a video on every property without it eating into your commission.
An Instagram account that lives. One Reel per property listed, in vertical format, ready to post. That is what makes a local seller follow you before they even have a project, and call you when they do.
Your name, not the network’s. The video carries your contact details. You are the one who gets the call.
How it works in practice
- You have the property photos, your own or the photographer’s: 5 to 15 photos, in the order you would run a showing.
- You upload them to Roomotion from your phone or computer. A camera move is suggested for each room; keep it or pick another.
- You get two videos under your name: one in 16:9 for the portal and your website, one in 9:16 for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.
The length of a coffee between two showings. Nothing to install, nothing to learn.
Example: an independent agent listing three properties a month
An independent agent in a franchise network, on the outskirts of a large city, lists three properties a month: two apartments, one house.
Before, he took his photos carefully and spent one evening a quarter attempting an edit on CapCut, never quite happy with the result. With Roomotion, every property has its video the day it goes live. He shows it in seller meetings on his phone, posts it as a Reel, and sends it on WhatsApp to buyers hesitating about a showing.
Across three properties, video costs him under €120 a month. He has stopped explaining why he did not have one.
What Roomotion does not do
- Walk through the rooms. Each clip starts from a photo and stays there. For a full virtual tour, that is a different tool.
- Rescue a bad photo. Dark or blurry going in, dark or blurry coming out. Get the light and framing right, the rest follows.
- Film an exceptional property. If the property justifies a drone and a crew, the videographer keeps the edge. For the properties you list every month, Roomotion does the work you never had the time or budget for.
Try it on your next property
Upload the photos, get the video, publish it with the listing. A listing that stands out, by tomorrow.
