Video for short-term and vacation rentals
On Airbnb, Booking or Vrbo, your property competes with hundreds of others that also have fifteen good photos. Roomotion turns those photos into an immersive video with real camera moves, in 16:9 and 9:16, in a few minutes. A video that works all season, on Instagram, TikTok and your direct booking site.
Where you stand today
You have polished the listing: the photos are good, the description is clear, the price is tuned. And yet the guest hesitates between your apartment and three others that look alike. All they have to decide with are still images, and nothing to feel the space, the light, the view from the terrace.
You may have considered video. Then you saw what it involves: a videographer at several hundred euros for a property that earns a few thousand a year, or an evening on CapCut for a slideshow that does not do the place justice. And if you manage ten properties, the question does not even come up.
The outcome: your Instagram account posts photos like everyone else, your direct booking site looks like an Airbnb listing, and guests keep choosing on criteria where you cannot stand out.
What video changes for a host or a property manager
A video that works all season. A sales listing disappears once the property is sold. Your rental is booked year after year. A video produced once serves every post, every price drop, every last-minute opening, every campaign.
Direct bookings. On social media, a Reel that walks through the property draws guests who book with you without going through the platform, so without commission. That is where video pays off most.
Content people share. A Reel gets saved and sent to the travel companion, the family, the group of friends planning the weekend. A listing link, much less so. The video travels to where the decision is made.
For property managers: an argument with owners. Offering a video for every property you manage shows what you do beyond online management. And it is a concrete deliverable from day one.
How it works in practice
- You already have the listing photos: 5 to 15 photos, in arrival order: the facade or entrance, the living room, the kitchen, the bedrooms, the bathroom, the outdoor space or the view.
- You upload them to Roomotion. A camera move is suggested for each room; approve it or change it.
- You get two videos: one in 16:9 for your website and YouTube, one in 9:16 for Instagram, TikTok and stories.
A few minutes per property. No software, no shoot, no editing.
Example: a property manager with twelve rentals
A property management company in a tourist town manages twelve apartments for eight owners.
It used to post listing photos on Instagram, with no measurable result. With Roomotion, it produced one video per property in an afternoon. Every property now has its Reel, reused at every price drop or last-minute opening. The direct booking site shows the video at the top of each property page.
What it did not have to do: pay for twelve shoots, learn editing, or wait for the off-season to get around to it.
What Roomotion does not do
- Put the video inside the Airbnb or Booking listing. These platforms do not accept video in property listings. The video lives around the listing: social media, direct booking site, Google Business Profile.
- A virtual tour. Each clip starts from a photo and stays there. You do not walk from room to room.
- Rescue a bad photo. A dark or blurry photo gives a dark or blurry clip. If the listing photos are good, they are enough.
One video per property, before next season
Upload your property’s photos, get the video, publish it. It will still be working next season.
